The Louisiana Attorney General’s Office hosted and helped to coordinate a two-day fair housing seminar on January 13 and 14. The seminar was presented by Willow Wilson, the New Orleans Housing and Urban Development Fair Housing Director. The seminar was held at the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office in Baton Rouge. Among the 200 attending the seminar were landlords, tenants and housing authority representatives from across the state. The training addressed federal and state Fair Housing Laws, Protected Classes, Prohibited Practices, Reasonable Accommodations and Reasonable Modifications.
